Comparison of Homogenous and Buongiorno’ Model with Eulerian-Lagrangian Model for Nanofluids Heat Transfer in a Microchannel

چکیده

In this paper, nanofluid heat transfer in a microchannel has been studied using homogenous and Buongiorno’s models, compared with Eulerian-Lagrangian model. The base fluid is water the particles are Al2O3 Cu diameter of 100nm. volume fraction up to 2% Reynolds number range 250-1000. governing equations including continuity, momentum energy, have solved control method (SIMPLE). results show that for Water-Al2O3, maximum difference between homogeneous model 7.5%, 3%. It can be concluded an acceptable accuracy results, simple enough used. On other hand, unlike Eulerian-Lagrangian, doesn’t need parallel processing super computers, good predict nanofluids.
